We compete in the South West League
Competitive opportunties are available to players. Play against teams like Swindon and Exeter!
We have qualified and experienced coaches
The coaching team, led by Jenny Rutter (Head Coach) is extremely experienced, inclusive and understanding of players' needs.
Our volunteers are AWESOME
We couldn't do it without them! They are fun, energetic and not afraid to get in a chair themselves if they need to!
Who is the club for
People with a physical disability
The sport was created specifically for people with physical disabilities and is the only active team sport for people in powerchairs. At competition level, all players must have a form of physical disability. Classifications are introduced at the National League level.
Ages 5+
Our sessions are open to people aged 5+, for both children and adults! Since there is no advantage given for growth or age, participants as young as 7 can play with 70 year olds! We're not sure there is another sport quite like it!
Mixed gender football!
At all levels of the game, from grassroots to international, teams can be comprised of both males and females. We welcome everyone!
What is powerchair football?
Powerchair football is played in electric sports wheelchairs with bumpers on the front of them. Games are played 4 v 4 on a basketball court, 40 minutes long, and there are currently around 100 clubs in the UK.
